Sanewashing. What does it mean? It refers to the tendency of the media, particularly electronic media outlets, to rely on a “false equivalency” when depicting Donald Trump versus the Democratic candidate. It means the selective, highly edited use of Trump’s statements to make him look a lot saner than he is.
Why do it? It’s a function of media laziness, and a desire to look more “objective.” But it does a terrible disservice to the electorate.
So, to everyone out there on the fence, including the young men who harbor the belief that Mr. Trump projects a “masculinity” that should be aspired to, what say we get the full story? This site is devoted to presenting Mr. Trump in living color, unedited. His speeches go very long so they might require a bit of a time commitment, but isn’t it worth it, rather than going down in history as one of the voters who gave up American democracy?
